The Bootcamp and Outdoor Group Fitness Course
Why undertake the course?
The MTT Bootcamp and Outdoor Group Fitness courses are registered and accredited with Fitness Australia, Kinect Australia, the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and REPS New Zealand (REPS NZ).
MTT has specially designed the courses to qualify fitness professionals, or those wanting employment, in the discipline of bootcamps and outdoor fitness. You will be taught by an independent team with extensive military and fitness backgrounds.
What is the qualification process?
There are two courses, the Level 1 and the Advanced course to this qualification. Upon completion of both courses, you will receive international accreditation and the Bootcamp Alliance Instructor Certificate.
How much are the courses?
Each course will set you back $280 (under the early bird special).
However, doing both of them together will cost you $470 (approx $100 saving).

What will I learn?
You learn how to run your own bootcamp or outdoor fitness classes. We will teach you how to do it safely, successfully, and professionally. We will give you a bunch of ideas to take home with you. Check out each course outline for further detail.
What will I get?
You receive a comprehensive manual for each course. Additionally, you will receive lesson plans to help you formulate your own class, along with a risk assessment table to make your class safe.
I already run my own bootcamps, what will the MTT courses give me?
We have had many existing Bootcamp Instructors come along and learn new aspects for their own courses. If you wish to speak to them for an independent appraisal of our courses, then let us know and we'll put you in touch with them.
I already run my own bootcamps, can I get recognition of current competency or prior learning (RCC/RPL)?
MTT prides itself on its standard of delivery and standard of competency. Therefore, to maintain our standards we need to independently assess each case of RCC/RPL. Generally, MTT will only grant RCC/RPL to ex-military Combat Fitness Leaders or ex-military Physical Training Instructors. The RCC/RPL process will involve an assessment to ensure standards are met, and will require a fee for RCC/RPL consideration. Please contact us for assistance.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Bring some light snacks, a water bottle and a pen, we'll bring the rest.
What do I need to wear on the day?
The course has a practical component which will require you to take part in physical activities. Please ensure you wear comfortable and suitable exercise attire. Bring a towel to soak up any sweat, and change of top for the drive home.
What qualifications do I need to attend?
We recommend a minimum Certificate 3 in Fitness (Group Fitness or Gym Instructor) and current Senior First Aid Certificate (including resuscitation). Registration with a fitness body such as Fitness Australia or Kinect Australia will allow you to use your CECs/PDPs.
